thankyou so much for sharing this stitch - i am using it to make a belt and as a cord and lacing my big dresses up as i loose weight - i love it

I use this stitch but instead of finishing the stitch like a HDC I use a DC. Works fab in a bulky yarn & Ive made 3 or 4 throws/blankets using it. To stop it being too dense I use a crochet hook 3-4 sizes bigger (so instead of a 4 or 4.5 mm ill use a 6mm or 6.5). People always comment on how nice the throws are & how much they like the stitches!!

This is a fun stitch! My only concern is I find it difficult to know, after the puff stich, which stitch to put the double croceht in. I know you said the one "next to the puff " but depending on how the piece lays, the puff falls in different places...? Does that make sense? Either way, thank you!
